The fourth and final chapter in the series produced for Harim, Accademia Euromediterranea in Catania, built around student designs using YKK zips.

Filming took place among the works of Fiumara d’Arte, the open-air sculpture park spread through the valley of the river Tusa, in the Nebrodi mountains in the province of Messina. Two installations take the lead: the Labyrinth of Ariadne by Italo Lanfredini at Castel di Lucio, and La Finestra sul Mare by Tano Festa, which looks out over the Tyrrhenian coast at Villa Margi.

Both are monumental concrete sculptures, standing alone in the landscape and open to visitors. Filming inside a work of contemporary art poses a problem of balance: the place is already a strong visual statement, and it risks overwhelming what it is supposed to be showing. The decision was to use its geometry — the arch, the spiral, the clean cut against the sky — as a structure against which to read the lines of the clothes, rather than shooting it as a backdrop.

It closes a series that ran six years and followed a clear path: from the scattered locations of the first film, to a nature reserve, to a palace in the city centre, and finally to a sculpture park. Every chapter changed the kind of space while holding the subject still.

The other chapters in the series are YKK 2016, YKK 2018 and YKK 2019.
